SEGA TAKES IN-HOME ARCADE GAMING TO NEXT LEVEL

ATLANTA -- (June 19, 1997) E3 Booth #1546 --
Arcade forces are about to invade Saturn and living rooms across America. Sega® of America announced today four new action-packed arcade titles that will debut on the Sega SaturnTM this year, including "Last BronxTM," "Sky TargetTM," "Manx TT SuperBikeTM" and "Sega Touring Car ChampionshipTM." These four games, filled with realistic 3D graphics, crisp CD sound and multi-player challenges will only be available for Sega Saturn.

Sega first entered arcade gaming more than 40 years ago. Now the technological advances found in the Sega Saturn are allowing them to bring the arcade experience home, where gamers can re-live all the arcade excitement in the comfort of their living rooms.

"Last Bronx" takes Sega's award-winning 3D fighting engine a step further with authentic hand-to-hand combat weapons. "Manx TT SuperBike" and "Sega Touring Car Championship" are built for speed, pushing to give the feeling of real-world racing.

"Sega has the largest dedicated team of arcade game developers in the industry. This resource is an incredible advantage for the Sega Saturn platform, as proven by the fact that our highest rated console games are consistently arcade translations," said Bernard Stolar, chief operating officer, Sega of America.

"Manx TT SuperBike" was created using more than 5,000 photos and sound effects recorded live from the actual race -- it's as close to the real thing as you can get.
