sGens, also known as The Sonic Emulator, is a modified version of the Sega Mega Drive emulator Gens. Written by LOst, sGens is based upon the version 2.11 source code of Gens. It shows some variables in real time for Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in a separate window, and is otherwise unchanged from Gens.

The sGens variable display functionality was ported to an MDP plugin in Gens/GS Release 7.
