Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol.28: Tetris Collection (SEGA AGES 2500シリーズ Vol.28 テトリスコレクション) is an entry in the Sega Ages 2500 collection, released in Japan by Sega in 2006. It revolves around Sega's original 1988 Tetris and its derivatives, Flash Point and Bloxeed. Not only can the original arcade games be played, but you can also view arcade fliers and listen to the game's sounds from a special menu selected with .
There is also a new mode, "Tetris New Century", which is basicallly the original Tetris mode but with somewhat updated graphics, new music, and a new move called "T-Spin" — you can spin a T-tetromino to fill in gaps shortly before the piece locks into place.
The collection also includes the Sega Mega Drive port of Tetris, including full box and manual scans, and a prototype ROM of a cancelled Mega Drive port of Flash Point. It also appears to include a Sega System 16 version of Bloxeed; the situation behind this is unknown and needs to be investigated (TODO).
