Talk:Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 21: SDI & Quartet: Sega System 16 Collection

From Sega Retro

I've always avoided tildes where possible. It's not really an accurate translation in my mind, because we don't use tildes in the English language, so I usually replace it with a colon.

really this should probably be

"Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 21 SDI & Quartet: Sega System 16 Collection"

all the colons are misplaced with the 2500 series pages because I was following a database that got it wrong. Such is life I guess - nobody likes dealing with Japanese translations

I think it's right to step in at some point and force punctiation on titles. If we were following the official line to the letter all instances of "Sega" would have to be replaced with "SEGA", or maybe even "SEGA™" or "SEGA®". And that's just ugly and tedious. -Black Squirrel 14:18, 22 August 2012 (CDT)
