The Nintendo DS (dual-screen, often called developer-system in the early days) is the successor to the Nintendo Game Boy Advance.
Features (as compared to a GBA)
- 2 screens, capable of 3D graphics
- 2 extra buttons (X and Y)
- Much smaller cartridges
- Touch screen
- Not backward compatible with Game Boy games
- Cannot play GBA games in multiplayer
