Black Pearl Software (originally founded as Black Pearl Inc.) was a subsidiary of THQ founded on June 1992 by Lawrence David Siegel[1][2][3], son of Bert Siegel[4][5] (Bertram Leroy Siegel[6], Co-Founder of Segasa), primarily focused on public company interim management with projects as diverse as satellite phone companies to heavy metal industrial plants. When THQ acquired the company in 1993, Lawrence Siegel was hired on a two year consulting agreement becoming its COO until 1995, serving as the executive producer of over one hundred THQ video games.
