Gearbox Software is an American video game developer best known for a long line of first-person shooter games starting with various Half-Life expansion packs (leading them to be chosen to port the game to the Sega Dreamcast, which went unreleased in favor of a PlayStation 2 port) and continuing otday with Ubisoft's Brothers in Arms series. They have ventured into other realms on occasion, however (for instance, the port of Samba de Amigo to the Wii).
