Mega Drive in a Playstation-like case. Compatible with [[Mega CD]] and [[Sega 32X]]. This model was released in 1996 by BBG, now known as BBK Electronics (步步高) - the parent company of smartphone brands Oppo, OnePlus, and Vivo. Because the Sony Playstation design patent, it was sold only in China and was not exported to Russia or Brazil.

The Sega Mega Drive is the second most often cloned console in the history of video games (first one being Nintendo Famicom) with the global market penetration of these imitations being so big, that combination of bootleg and original units sells, would exceed the Super Nintendo ones (and it's clones) many times over. During the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and even 2020s, console got potentially thousands of different models and many of which did not resemble the original device nor in design or even in functions.
