Yasuhiro "Y.K" Kawakami (川上 泰広) is a former Sega sound composer who worked on some of its late 80s titles, including Shinobi, Crack Down, Tetris, E-SWAT: City Under Siege and Scramble Spirits. He later left the company and joined Square (now Square Enix) in 1991, remaining there throughout the decade. He is best known for composing music for Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest alongside Ryuji Sasai, his coworker for most of his employment with Square.

He has since become an employee for Warner Music Japan.
