REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 19, 1998--Sega(R) Entertainment, Inc. (SEI) announced today the release of two new arcade games for the PC, "Sega Touring Car Championship(TM)" and "Last Bronx(TM)."

Continuing the tradition of its strong Sega Racing(TM) and fighting titles, both "Sega Touring Car Championship" and "Last Bronx" are optimized for the PC with network play, high-resolution 3D graphics and enough hidden "easter eggs" to keep gamers glued to their PCs. "Sega Touring Car Championship" and "Last Bronx" are available in stores nationwide.

"Sega Touring Car Championship" provides the perfect mix of high-speed track racing with hair-raising power slides, offering gamers an intense arcade racing experience jam-packed with unexpected modes, new cars and tracks to uncover. Unlike other racing games, "Sega Touring Car Championship" enables gamers to race against the computer with an artificial intelligence (AI) that can be trained to be the fastest on the track.

In addition, gamers seeking another challenge -- and a laugh -- can download an additional "April Fools" track on April 1, 1998, and race backwards against the computer or with friends via network play through TCP/IP, IPX, modem or serial link.

"Last Bronx" brings weapons-based street fighting from the arcades to the PC with incredible rich 3D graphics, smooth character control, two player network play and true-to-life martial arts weapons. Set in the streets of Tokyo, gamers can choose from one of eight fighting characters, each a leader from a different street gang who has his/her own fighting style and one of eight unique weapons. For those tough enough to uncover them, various weapons are hidden (including a frozen tuna!), making gameplay even more interesting.

"Sega Touring Car Championship" and "Last Bronx" are currently available nationwide for $29.99. Gamers purchasing either game by April 30, 1998, will receive a manufacturer's coupon good for a $20 cash rebate. Both games are also currently available for Sega Saturn(R) (rebate does not apply to Sega Saturn version).
