The Project Berkley demo disc is a Japanese Sega Dreamcast disc bundled with early copies of Virtua Fighter 3tb. It is a non-interactive movie showcasing plans for Shenmue, complete with an interview with Yu Suzuki.
While Shenmue's development had started on the Sega Saturn, it would be more than a year before it arrived on the Dreamcast in Japan, so the video is comprised of pre-rendered cutscenes (played out in real time in the final game) and concept sketches, seemingly covering the whole of the Shenmue saga rather than the first chapter.
