Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA

From Sega Retro

初音ミク -Project DIVA- 追加楽曲集デラックスパック1 ミクうた、おかわり
this appears to be DLC music (it definitely says "download") so given this + Sonic Generations == how should we handle DLC both here and on Sonic Retro? - Andlabs 02:01, 19 December 2011 (CST)

I vote for keeping DLC on the same page as the "main" game, because in most cases DLC only tends to be things like maps or extra songs or extra characters or whatever. Might be more awkward for the releases template but I think the best solution for now is just to keep doing
|psp_type_jp_1=DLC #1
|psp_type_jp_2=DLC #2
|psp_type_jp_3=DLC #3
etc. I mean... how much downloadable content packs is one game likely to have? If they're doing something stupid like releasing music tracks individually I suspect it's better to create a list somewhere instead.
The exception would be something like Grand Theft Auto IV, where its downloadable missions were later bundled together and sold on a disc. But that doesn't tend to happen with Sega products (in fact, the Japanese don't tend to use DLC that much - they prefer re-releasing games on disc to rip people off (hi Capcom)). Do we know how many Sega games offer DLC packs? -Black Squirrel 08:33, 19 December 2011 (CST)
Probably, though this specific game (and its brethren) got a number of rereleases as well... And IDK all the DLC that was released by Sega; this one just caught my eye because it was listed along with the full games on Sega's catalogue - Andlabs 10:59, 19 December 2011 (CST)
Well, this game has it's DLC packs named for instance. But for Project DIVA 2nd it got a crap ton of DLC is the form of costumes and induvidual songs as well as some song packs I think. And the game got two re-releases but the catalog shows 2nd five times while only showing three boxes so I'm even more confused. JaxTH 21:44, 19 December 2011 (CST)
IDK, but here are the five 2nds:
"いっぱいパック" (Ippai Pack [not Box; that was my mistake]) - released on launch date, so I'll assume it's a limited edition of some sorts (it's also ridiculously expensive)
"UMD版" (UMD-ban) - regular retail version
"ダウンロード版" (Download-ban) - regular download version
"お買い得版<アーケードデビューパック>" (Okaidoku-ban<??? (Arcade Debut Pack?)>) - ???
"お買い得版" (Okaidoku-ban) - budget rerelease version? not sure; available both download and ertail
