Extra battle game rules cheat
In the International versions, the Extra battle game rules cheat simply requires holding

when selecting a stage to unlock all three "time of day" stage variants. However, in the Japanese version, only two extra times of day are unlocked, with the third (the Night Sky variant) locked behind a more difficult method (requiring extremely-fast presses of the START button or Hudson Soft's SBom Joycard controller).[1][2]
