"Up input to down" in Space Harrier

On the title screen of Space Harrier, holding A+X+Y will display a "Up input to down" message on the bottom left of the screen. Starting a game with these buttons held will invert the Y axis controls (i.e. Up becomes Down and Down becomes Up).
