 Crave Unveils Amazing E3 Line-Up

Games for Every System: Xbox™, PlayStation®2, Game Boy® Advance, PC

LOS ANGELES, CA - May 11, 2001 - Crave Entertainment today announced its complete line-up of titles showing at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles from May 17-19. The games on display cover a wide range of genres, from real-time strategy to fighting, and will be showcased on multiple systems, including the XboxÔ video game console from Microsoft, Sony's PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, Sega Dreamcast™, Game Boy® Advance and the PC.

"We will make our presence felt at this year's E3," said Holly Newman, Executive Vice President of Crave Entertainment. "Our multi-platform strategy will make waves with sequels to several of our successful brands as well as original titles that set new standards in both graphics and gameplay."

Located in South Hall booth 1312, Crave will have the following titles on the show floor:

The Lost [PS2] - Developed by award-winning Irrational Games, "The Lost" presents the next generation in survival horror games with an intense storyline and a darkly haunting atmosphere. Descending through nine circles of hell, players can customize gameplay to their own whims as they choose between several different personas, each with their own abilities.

H2Overdrive [PS2] - Join the Global Powerboat Racers League and race in the only water sport competition that matters! "H2Overdrive" speeds racers through wacky arcade-style levels with races that will be celebrated for their sheer excitement and action, not to mention their locations. A super intense Battle Mode ups the ante with weapons and destruction, so players must master the eye-popping courses and learn every drop and shortcut to stay afloat.

Men In Black: The Series [Game Boy Advance] - Join agents J and K as they travel through New York City and beyond, taking out aliens with their arsenal of deadly weapons. Based on the TV series, the game presents multiple levels of platform action.

Razor Freestyle Scooter [Game Boy Advance, Dreamcast] - Control urban thrashers who cut through massive, radical environments. Players perform tight tricks like no-footers, tailwhips, tabletops and supermen. Pulling off phat air on insane ramps and half-pipes adds to the time bar. Grind ledges, high-flying wires, barrels, and benches. Collect tokens scattered throughout each level to unlock the coolest parks and modes.

Ultimate Fighting Championship: Tapout [Xbox] - The original "Ultimate Fighting Championship" for Dreamcast was awarded "Best Fighting Game," at last year's E3, and this follow-up for the UFC franchise is sure to break a few records. "UFC: Tapout" takes full advantage of Xbox specifications, bringing all the blood, sweat and face-pounding action of the premier mixed martial arts sport to the videogame arena with unprecedented realism. New athletes, advanced AI, and unmatched fighting modes assure that "UFC Tapout" is 'Real Fighters. Real Fighting.' Actual UFC fighters will be on hand at Crave's E3 booth to give real-life examples of their in-game techniques. Watch out!

Ultimate Fighting Championship: Throwdown [PS2] - "Throwdown" promises brutal realism - no flying chairs or fake moves - only the authentic combat techniques of the most athletic fighters in the world. The UFC will make its debut on the PlayStation 2 packed with a stable of over 25 actual fighters, from current light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz to some of the classic UFC fighters of the past. "Throwdown" will present a wealth of options and play modes.

Kengo: Legacy of the Blade [Xbox] - A fighting game in the truest sense, "Kengo: Legacy of the Blade" offers players the opportunity to embrace the ancient traditions of honor and skill. Concentrated sword-fighting battles and focused training sequences help players become one with the game, bringing the ancient samurai code to the future generation of gaming consoles.

Battle Realms [PC] - This real-time strategy game set in a fictional land of honor and bravery is almost upon us. Powerful samurai and deadly archers face off against mystical magicians and dangerous ninjas in a world that draws its inspiration from both history and fantasy. Armed with a rich story and a robust 3D engine, "Battle Realms" combines a unique, living resource system and a detailed combat model to bring the strategy back to real-time strategy games.

Global Operations [PC] - "Global Operations" features all the essential components of addictive first person shooters, including extensive, diverse environments and heart-pounding action. The title will also transcend other shooters by emphasizing team cooperation through specialized troop members, integrated voice communication, and other distinctive features, adding up to make it the most strategically intricate and graphically rewarding FPS to come along on the PC.

Freedom Force [PC] - Set in New York City circa 1962, Freedom Force is a tactical RPG that bristles with the over-the-top action of comic books. Players form and lead Freedom Force, a team of superheroes capable of standing toe-to-toe against insane villains who are hell bent on crimes that range from bank robbery to world domination! Complete with customizable heroes and destructible and richly-detailed 3D environments modeled on real New York locations (and some more mysterious, but not-so-real places), "Freedom Force" will also includes a powerful multiplayer mode and over 25 unique heroes and villains, each with their own voices and personalities.
