Company to offer downloads of Sega Mobile games through worldwide online distribution channels

LOS ANGELES, California and HURST, Texas - May 13, 2003 - SEGA Mobile, a division of Sega.com, Inc., dedicated to bringing SEGA content to the mobile market in North America and Handango, the leading publisher and platform for mobile software, today announced a partnership making Sega Mobile content available on www.segamobile.com as well as on Handango and download portals powered by Handango's application management and provisioning platform, Handango AMPP.

Utilizing Handango AMPP, Handango will provide transaction processing and over-the-air delivery of applications to customers' mobile phones at www.segamobile.com. Further, Handango will offer Sega Mobile content for sale on its own Web site, www.handango.com, as well as through mobile software download portals powered by Handango AMPP, including Yahoo! and Wireless Gaming Review.

SEGA content is already available to subscribers on most major carriers in the United States, such as AT&T Wireless and Sprint PCS.

According to research from IDC, the number of mobile gamers in the US is expected to soar from $7 billion in 2002 to more than $71.2 billion in 2007. Furthermore, mobile gaming revenue in the US is expected to grow from $130 million in 2002 to $4 billion by 2007.

The SEGA Mobile games will be available this month at prices ranging from $2.99 to $5.99.
