}} Exile, called Exile: Toki no Hazama he (エグザイル 時の狭間へ) in Japan, is a 1991 action RPG by Telenet Japan released on the Sega Mega Drive. It is part of Telenet Japan's XZR/Exile series of action RPGs and was also released on the TurboGrafx-CD (though that version was localized by Working Designs).
Over the course of human history, one country managed to conquer the world through war — only to be destroyed by the desert warrior Sadler. Peace did not last long: Sadler waged a brutal war with Luciel, a rival tribe.
You play as Sadler; he will be followed by various party members who join you while meeting them in towns. Controls are typical for RPGs:
- Menu: and opens the main menu. makes selections. When in a menu, closes the current menu and closes all menus.

- Map Screen: You get here in between other areas. Simply use the D-pad to navigate and hit to make a selection.
- Battles: These take place in side-scrolling areas found in the Desert and possibly other overworlds. opens the menu, attacks with the currently equipped weapon, and jumps.
