:::::Thank you very much for help. I only have three questions. How long will this process take? After blocking, will be my email still receiving messages from this sites because I have now removed it from preferences? Is there an option to delete the account on the forum or at least the posts I made there (there was only one, but I prefer it to be deleted)?-[[User:Lukdriver14|Lukdriver14]] ([[User talk:Lukdriver14|talk]]) 15:13, 17 August 2022 (EDT)

I've been marking your files for deletion because we already have copies:

Can you start categorising your uploads

I've probably let this slide a bit too long - files get lost if they're not categorised properly, and so far I've had to follow you around and add the necessary tags.

{{PCDisc|UK}}
{{PCDisc|PL}}

for some of your recent uploads. There's tons of these - watch what other people do when they upload things.

If files aren't categorised, they end up in Special:UncategorizedFiles, and then someone (usually me) has to clean it up at a later date. Some files are difficult to organise (which is why there's over 400 uncategorised files right now) but this isn't an issue for box/disc scans.

Thanks -Black Squirrel (talk) 12:39, 27 August 2018 (CDT)

"Authorised retailers"

While it might be nice to list this somewhere, I don't think we need separate pages for each one. The number of retailers, particularly in the 1990s when Sega were selling consoles, will be massive (and they will have been supplying independent stores too). -Black Squirrel (talk) 06:10, 26 January 2019 (EST)

So what to do with the created articles and where to put them?-Lukdriver14

Suny Electronics

how do you find all of the suny electronics old newspapers ads? Ponkok (talk) 01:58, 3 February 2019 (EST)

I found a page with old Israeli magazines. That's where I take all the ads.

Admin

Are you an admin here? I presume that User:Black Squirrel is one also. It seems that you may need one more. I'll be happy enough to help! GoldenGamerGal (talk) 09:24, 23 February 2019 (EST)

I'm not an admin. User: Black Squirrel is an admin so you have to write to him . Lukdriver14
Why can't he make you an admin? This is a complement. You do real good edits here! GoldenGamerGal (talk) 09:31, 23 February 2019 (EST)
Is User:Black Squirrel online? GoldenGamerGal (talk) 09:32, 23 February 2019 (EST)
Thanks for the compliment, but personally I don't want to be an admin.I don't know if he is online. Just write to him and he will write you back soon because he is often on this site.Lukdriver14
Thanks! Oh by the way. I fixed the Fox Interactive article. It was missing its headquarters in the infobox. It is located in Los Angeles, California, United States. Here is the source to prove a point: https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=K1txXJGWFpvlgwfD3buIDA&q=fox+interactive+hq&btnK=Google+Search&oq=fox+interactive+hq&gs_l=psy-ab.3...944.4834..5099...0.0..0.446.1794.17j1j4-1......0....1..gws-wiz.....0..35i39j0i131j0j0i22i30.1jZqk_bU8vE GoldenGamerGal (talk) 09:42, 23 February 2019 (EST)

South African releases

What's the source for those? I don't think any releases should be added without a source. - Hivebrain (talk) 14:48, 11 March 2020 (EDT)

They are here-Lukdriver14 (talk)

can you not undo everything

I'm not sure what your reasoning is for wanting to remove x years of work, but deleting information is generally a bad idea

Even if you don't want your specific scans, "this advert is on this page" is still useful to us. -Black Squirrel (talk) 08:22, 27 April 2020 (EDT)

I know it's not my business... and I apologize for that... to User: Lukdriver14... It's everything ok with you? Please mate... don't you dare to leave us :) (no offense... much respect)... we need you here... I hope you're fine.....--Asagoth (talk) 10:05, 27 April 2020 (EDT)
No, they can't stay there. If you think they are important, you must reupload them yourself. I don't want to have anything to do with them.-User:Lukdriver14
All information is extremely important - give me your source and I'll see what I can do
But please don't remove things from pages, because adding it back just ends up being more work for someone else (probably me) -Black Squirrel (talk) 08:44, 28 April 2020 (EDT)

Thanks for fixing my formatting

Hey thank you for fixing some of the formatting I left behind on that It’s stronger than you article ;) I thought I had fixed those before saving, and I appreciate the catch. CartridgeCulture (talk) 08:43, 20 April 2021 (EDT)

No problem-Lukdriver14 (talk) 08:52, 20 April 2021 (EDT)

"The" titles

If you make a page for a game that begins with "The" in its title (e.g. The Second Samurai), don't forget to put {{TheTitle}} at the end of the page so it's properly organised in all categories. Games with those sorts of titles are pretty dodgy with organisation. --SorachiJirachi (talk) 12:56, 25 May 2021 (EDT)

Repeated hounding of Black Squirrel

Yeah, so I might as well step in on this. Black Squirrel has told you months ago that he won't be fulfilling your request as deleting and reuploading all of your uploads is unfeasible. All your files are kept on backup disks, and just reuploading them under a different account will only hog up server space. Yet you have disregarded his reasonings and spammed his talk page for months.

If you REALLY don't want to have your name on your uploads anymore, you could have just asked us to have your account renamed to a throwaway name, then have your account blocked. That would easily save all the trouble of reuploading everything, and you won't have to worry about it. --SorachiJirachi (talk) 13:04, 14 August 2022 (EDT)

The point is that the only option that will satisfy me is the lack of any of my names, for example, someone will either delete them or if you don't want to upload them again, then change my name as the author of uploaded file to someone else like for example you. I don't know if the last option is possible, but only this kind of solutions or similar, satisfy me.-Lukdriver14 (talk) 14:00, 15 August 2022 (EDT)
Someone with higher privileges than me or Black Squirrel will have to do the name-changing thing, but it can be done if it helps satisfy you. Not sure about changing it to another user's name, was thinking more of a random throwaway name. Would you like that? --SorachiJirachi (talk) 14:15, 15 August 2022 (EDT)
If you manage to check if it's possible with another user's name, then yes, and if not, then the last option with throwaway name and blocked account remains. As I said, it must apply to all sites (SegaRetro + NecRetro + SonicRetro + Forum + RetroCDN).-Lukdriver14 (talk) 03:22, 16 August 2022 (EDT)
Rightyo, I'll pass this on to an admin who can do it. Wiki software won't allow an account to have the exact same name as another user, so we'll have to go for the last option to use a throwaway name. Whichever name your account gets, you won't have to take responsibility for your uploads anymore.
As for the content you have removed from pages over the last few months, I'll get around to putting it all back the way it was as it won't be under your name anymore. Thank you for the contributions you have made to the Retro wikis over the years, and I wish you the best of luck for future endeavours. --SorachiJirachi (talk) 09:17, 16 August 2022 (EDT)
