CAPS Software Inc. was an America edutainment video game publisher and a distribution affiliate of Sega of America.

Company

CAPS, established in June 1994, was an interactive educational and entertainment software publisher. The company's product lines incorporated educational elements into more traditional game genres like action, adventure, strategy and puzzle.[1]

Shortly after the release of the action platform game X-Men 2: Clone Wars in early 1995, developer HeadGames was acquired by CAPS, with a number of staff migrating over.[2][3]
