The Sega Saturn version of Street Racer, known as Street Racer Extra (ストリート レーサー エクストラ) in Japan, is a racing game developed by Vivid Image and published by Ubi Soft.
The Saturn version of the game was not released in North America, though it was at one point planned to launch in October 1996[5].

Gameplay
Similar to Super Mario Kart, Street Racer game allows the user to select one of many cartoon-like characters, racing around a circuit, avoiding obstacles and using special items.
Unlike its Sega Mega Drive counterpart, the Saturn version renders its levels through 3D geometry, allowing the user to see more of the stage.
Unusually for the time, the Saturn version offers more detailed stages with more scenery than its PlayStation counterpart, and also runs at a higher screen resolution. The changes are particularly noticeable on the "Raph" stages, where a grassland with a few hills on the PlayStation has become a small European-style town on the Saturn.
