Unreleased 32X games

The following unreleased Sega 32X games were officially announced in some capacity but never saw a final release.

Alone in the Dark 2

This game, which did surface on the LG 3DO, is advertised on page 193 of December 1995's GamePro Magazine, under the 32X section. It was supposed to retail for $52. Also in December 1995, it was advertised on p. 256 of Electronic Gaming Monthly.

Apache

In the December 1994 issue of Game Players Magazine, on page 40 there is a feature on the 32X. At the top of the page is a list of all the expected titles that are "fairly definite for US release." Apache is listed, and said to be developed by Domark.

Batman Forever

In the June 1994 issue of Game Players magazine, page 18 has a section about upcoming releases. Batman Forever is listed as in development by Sega and MGM Grand Studios. On page 38 of the August 1995 issue of GamePro, this game is mentioned as an upcoming game that was seen at E3, and was being made by Acclaim. The latter company made the other versions of Batman Forever that were released, for various platforms including the Sega Mega Drive and Sega Game Gear. They also released Batman Forever: The Arcade Game on several platforms including the Sega Saturn.

College Basketball

On page 65 of the October/November 1994 issue of Sega Visions magazine, there is an ad for the Sega 32X, and this game is listed as one that is coming out. On page 31 of the August 1994 issue of GamePro Magazine, there is a short sentence of upcoming games in 1995, this is one of them. This game is also listed in an advertisement on page 139 of the September 1995 issue of GamePro Magazine.

Converse City Ball Tour

On page 37 of the October 1995 issue of Game Player's Magazine, there is a section about games that are "In the Works." This is listed there. Supposed to be made by Virgin Entertainment and released in the last quarter of 1995. On page 121 on the July 1995 issue of GamePro, there is a small feature on this game. 4 screen shots are shown and a few sentence write up is offered. Supposed to have hand drawn animation and feature 3 on 3 play. Also supposed to be released for the Genesis, Saturn, SNES, Play Station and PC. No known version was released. Ecco the Dolphin

On page 31 of the August 1994 issue of GamePro Magazine there is a short sentence of upcoming games in 1995, this is one of them. In the December 1994 issue of Game Players Magazine, on page 40 there is a feature on the 32X. At the top of the page there is a list of all the expected titles that are "fairly definite for US release." Ecco is listed there and is said to be made by Sega.

Midnight Raiders

In the August 1994 issue of GamePro Magazine, on page 31, there is a picture shown of Midnight Raider's 32X CD game. It is obviously an upgrade of the Sega CD game. Supposed to be "in the works for '95!" On page 7 of the February/March 1995 issue of Sega Visions, there is a very small picture of the box art for this game. It is covered up partially by that of Fahrenheit 32X CD but the name of the game and the side part can be seen. In the December 1994 issue of Game Players Magazine, on page 40 there is a feature on the 32X. At the top of the page there is a list of all the expected titles that are "fairly definite for US release." Midnight Raiders CD is listed there. Said to be made by Sega.

NFL Trivia Challenge

In a small column in the January 1995 issue of GamePro magazine, on page 212, there is talk about a new developer for the 32X called CapDisc/Capitol Multimedia. One of the games they were supposed to be working on is NFL Football Trivia Challenge. The game is supposed to feature 1500 trivia questions and be narrated by Pat Summerall and Tom Brooksheir. Even though it doesn't say either way, it was likely to be a 32X CD game as that is what CapDisc/Capitol Multimedia is known for.

Power Rangers

In the December 1995 issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly, on page 256, there is an advertisement for games. This is listed under the 32X section.

Ratchet & Bolt

In an article about up coming games for the 32X in the August 1995 issue of GamePro, on page 38, there is one line about what this game is. It says "Rookie robot cops armed with 33 weapons."

Tomcat Alley Deluxe

On page 31 of the August 1994 issue of GamePro Magazine there is a short sentence of upcoming games in 1995; this is one of them.
