Pre-System 1 arcade systems

From Sega Retro

Monaco GP, released in 1979, was one of Sega's most popular games from the era.

This category contains arcade systems created before the introduction of the System 1. The use of several different architectures contributed to a wide array of games, from vector-based titles like Eliminator and Star Trek to Dual games such as Deep Scan and Head On and laserdisc titles like GP World and Astron Belt. Sega was able to get access to some of the technology for the systems as a result of their acquisition of Gremlin Industries.
