Desert Demolition Starring Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote is a Mega Drive game released in 1995 which stars the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote from the Looney Tunes cartoon series. The game is developed by Blue Sky Software, the company well known for making the Vectorman series. The player can play as either the Road Runner, who spends the game avoiding the Wile E.'s traps, or Wile E. Coyote, who spends the game attempting to catch the Road Runner.

The game was later released in North America as part of the Mega Hit Series.

Game Differences

Both Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote have a slightly different game to go through, having different items to collect and sharing some of the levels but having a completely different level order.

Wile E. Coyote

Press A to leap, B to run, and C to jump. Hold down Down and walk to crawl.

Road Runner

Press A to "meep meep", B to run, and C to jump. Hold down Down to peck and eat bird seed.

Level Order

NOTE: Wile E. Coyote and RoadRunner have different second acts depending on the character. Also, playing as either will result in the first two stages being flipped; Wile E. gets Red Rock Rendezvous first, then Buttes and Ladders, while Road Runner gets the opposite.

  • Red Rock Rendezvous
  • Buttes and Ladders
  • Choo Choo Terrain
  • Karl's Bad Caverns
  • Granite Gulch
  • Grand Finale
