Quake is a first person shooter developed by id Software and was originally released for DOS computers in 1996. It was converted by Titanium Studios to Sega Dreamcast in 2000[1][2] in just nine days, but this was a proof of concept in order to attract publishers, rather than a release set for retail[3]
