Sega sponsored Swiss professional ice hockey team Zürcher Schlittschuh Club[1] in the 1992/1993[2] and 1993/1994[3] seasons of the National League, the top level of ice hockey in Switzerland.[4][5][6][7][8]

Sega was the main sponsor of the 1993/1994 season of the Swedish Elitserien, the top level of ice hockey in Sweden. To better market its brand, Sega bought advertising space on all the helmets of the 12 teams that took part in the league that season, placing its logo there.[18]
