Time Warner Interactive (タイムワーナーインタラクティブ) was a studio within Time Warner which developed video games. It was formed in 1994 after Time Warner bought a controlling interest in Atari Games and by extension, subsidiary Tengen. Time Warner subsequently decided to merge both companies and its own earlier "Time Warner Interactive Group" division into this new Time Warner Interactive subsidiary[1] (although arcade games were still traded with the "Atari Games" name).
In 1996 WMS Industries bought Time Warner Interactive, renaming it Midway Games West.
