Pro Striker Final Stage (プロストライカー ファイナルステージ) is a Sega Mega Drive football game developed by Sega CS and published by Sega. Released exclusively in Japan in August 1995, the game is a sequel to the developer's previous 1994 game J.League Pro Striker 2, and is officially sponsored by Japan's professional football league, J.League.
Gameplay
Though arguably a "sequel" to J.League Pro Striker, J.League Pro Striker Perfect and J.League Pro Striker 2, Final Stage in fact uses an entirely different engine (most notably, the game is played horizontally rather than vertically) with many more added features.
Like its predecessors, Pro Striker Final features teams from the Japanese J.League, specifically the 14 teams which competed in the 1995 season:
- Gamba Osaka
- JEF United Ichihara
- Nagoya Grampus Eight
- Sanfrecce Hiroshima
- Urawa Red Diamonds
- Verdy Kawasaki
- Yokohama Flügels
- Yokohama Marinos
- Kashima Antlers
- Shimizu S-Pulse
- Júbilo Iwata
- Bellmare Hiratsuka
- Cerezo Osaka
- Kashiwa Reysol
