Zürcher SC (Switzerland; 1992-1994)
Sega sponsored Swiss professional ice hockey team Zürcher Schlittschuh Club[1] in the 1992/1993[2] and 1993/1994[3] seasons of the National League, the top level of ice hockey in Switzerland.[4][5][6][7][8] The best players in each home game were each presented with a Sega Mega Drive console.[9]

Elitserien (Sweden; 1993-1994)
Sega was one of the five main sponsors of the 1993/1994 season of the Swedish Elitserien, the top level of ice hockey in Sweden.[19] To better market its brand, Sega bought advertising space on all the helmets of the twelve teams that took part in the league that season, placing its logo there.[20][21]
