I'm Sorry, known as Gonbee no I'm Sorry (ごんべえのあいむそ〜り〜) in Japan, is an arcade game developed by Coreland and published by Sega for Sega System 1 hardware.

Gameplay

I'm Sorry is one of the more bizarre Sega arcade games. It stars Kakuei Tanaka, the former Prime Minister of Japan and satirizes his greed by making him collect gold bars. Enemies include Japanese wrestler Giant Baba, pop sensations Michael Jackson and Madonna, Japanese comedian Tamori and former American track and field athlete Carl Lewis. The name of the game is a play on the Japanese word "Sori", which means "Prime Minister".

Kakuei Tanaka can jump over obstacles and punch people. The object of the game is to navigate a maze, collect gold bars and take them to a goal without being killed.

Despite the heavy emphasis on Japanese satire, an English version was made for the export market, however this version of the PCB is even rarer than the Japanese original.
