TC 2000 is a hacked Super Monaco GP for the Sega Mega Drive sold by unlicensed developer Miky in Argentina in 1995. It appears to accompany an earlier arcade game of the same name (scroll down) but virtually nothing is known about that one. The game is based on Argentina's TC 2000 Championship — which he did not get a license to use either.

Versions

Differences from Super Monaco GP include:

  • the ability to select one of eight cars to drive
  • a from-behind view rather than an in-cockpit view
  • a rearranged HUD allowing for "advertisements" (various corporation logos, again unlicensed) popping up occasionally
  • various removed or changed screens
  • various other changes
