Sega of America? NovaLogic? Even Ono-Sendai says that after they licensed their head-tracking sensor they “helped to refine Virtua VR [sic] for launch at the 1993 Consumer Electronics Show.” which probably just means “provided technical support for their sensor”. Also Sega-16/Sega-16’s source calls Stewart Kosoy the “creator” of Sega VR. I’m sure there’s enough info out there to eliminate some of these but I’m legit curious. HMM Hm Hm... left field thought but. what if SoJ/Nakayama stood up and clapped “It’s VR time!” and issued a directive to both SoJ & SoA to start looking into VR stuff. SoJ ended up with the MVD, and SoA ended up with the unreleased Sega VR? Would explain why both companies starting doing their own VR development at around the same time. Maybe there were plans to go with whatever system worked the best, but then VR being what it is caused the MVD’s planned implimentation to get significantly scaled back? I don’t know, just thoughts.

Reference displaying improperly

Can anyone confirm the first reference’s URL isn’t being displayed properly? Formatting looks ok but it’s just an empty reference in the list. Not sure what’s wrong with it... CartridgeCulture (talk) 09:12, 20 April 2021 (EDT)

Yes if the URL has a "=" in it, you need to do

it's a technical limitation with the software -Black Squirrel (talk) 09:30, 20 April 2021 (EDT)

Did SoJ/Nakayama issue a VR mandate?

HMM Hm Hm... left field thought but. what if SoJ/Nakayama stood up and clapped “It’s VR time!” and issued a directive to both SoJ & SoA to start looking into VR stuff.
