Universal Soldier is an action game released for the Sega Mega Drive in 1992. It is an interesting creation, as it is essentially a reworking of Factor 5's Turrican 2 with branding from the 1992 Universal Soldier film. Though the game was sold in stores, it was not licensed by Sega.
Universal Soldier sees new levels inserted to replace some of the older ones, and completely different sets of graphics and music. The gameplay is left mostly in-tact, however. Ports were later made to the Game Boy and SNES, though the latter was not released officially.
