Mega Drive version

Stage select leftovers

The stage select code from the Mega-CD version is recognised in this Mega Drive conversion. However, while pressing A B A C A B in the options menu still triggers a sound effect, any button combination on the title screen just loads the first stage.

Enter MARIO as a password. This will give you access to all the levels and make you invincible.

Mega-CD version

Stage select

On the options menu, press A B A C A B. A sound effect will be triggered if entered correctly. Now the following button combinations on the title screen will start you at a different stage[1]:
