Abalone Entertainment Software Development, Inc., formerly known as simply Abalone and Abalone Entertainment[3], was an American video game developer.[1]

Abalone was founded in 1990 by American programmer Glyn Anderson, who served as the company's chief technology officer during the first seven years of its existence[1] before moving to Infogrames.[4]

Before 1994, the developer branded itself as simply Abalone.[3]
