Alien 3 was a planned Mega-CD version of the Mega Drive game of the same name.[2] Scheduled to be published by Arena Entertainment[1] sometime around 1993, the final game would end up only being released on cartridge.
History
Alien 3 was featured at Summer CES 1993.[2]
Curiously, a rumor was circulated among UK gaming magazines in the 1990s that Flying Edge had plans to bring the Mega Drive version of Alien 3 to the Mega-CD if the cartridge version sold well enough.[3] The source of this rumor is unknown.
