Final game

There is no Sega logo in this prototype. Instead, the game begins with the park doors opening. These graphics were reworked for the final version, with greener leaves and a darker sky.

The lightning strike is also completely different.

Final game

Rather than a quick zoom in, the logo fades into view from top to bottom. No copyright information on the title screen, but there are some rogue purple pixels drawn on the "IC". The music is also much slower, and there are no rolling demos.

Final game

Press  START  and gameplay in the prototype begins straight away. In the final there is a copyright screen, then the main menu, then some introductory cutscenes.

Final game

In order to reach the main menu in this prototype, you have to press A instead. There are again more subtle graphical differences with the final game, with torches animating much faster in this prototype. Menu options are selected with A instead of  START  in this build, save for "Password" which doesn't work at all.

Final game

The player selection screen is broken in this build. Technically you can choose the raptor (or the mangled graphics that represent the raptor), but the menu will reset if you attempt to start the game, and it will re-select Grant.

Final game (NTSC-U)

Debug mode is activated by default, so attempting to select "Options" will bring you to this screen. The menu uses a different font (and confirms the earlier build date). The level (and player) names are all the same, but the audio names are not; see audio comparisons for more details.

Final game

There is no "PAUSE" text when the game is paused.
