Katsuyoshi Nitta (新田 勝貴) is a sound designer employed by Sega during the mid-'90s, where he worked on Clockwork Knight, Iron Storm, and various baseball titles for the Sega Saturn console. He had previously been employed by Honwaka Soft and worked on the game Oshioki Kirai! 2, the developer's only known title.

He usually worked with sound designer and director Tomonori Sawada and sound effect creator Miki Obata.

He left Sega in 1996, feeling that his work was subpar.[4] He then created sound for several Wizardy games on the Nintendo Game Boy Color and the erotic game Gotta Be? (published by Groover).[4] In 2000 he became the representative director and president of the video game company Gung-Ho!(not to be confused with GungHo Online Entertainment). He left the company in 2004, becoming a self-employed online developer, involved with "Marketing and stuff like that".[3]
