Makoto Funabashi (船橋 誠) was a programmer at Sega Enterprises. While best-known for his work on Phantasy Star IV, he is perhaps more notable for various projects on the Sega Pico game Yukai na Mori no Packet (programming its built-in microphone) and programming a remote-controlled car released by Sega Toys in 2002[1].
