Ubi Soft Entertainment and Sony Pictures Consumer Products Inc. sign an exclusive deal for new interactive games based on the TV series VIP.

PARIS - (February 25, 2000) -- Ubi Soft will create and publish games worldwide that will feature the star of VIP™, Pamela Anderson Lee. The agreement covers all formats. The PC version will launch in October 2000 and the PlayStation and Dreamcast versions are due for release in November 2000.

The TV series was first broadcast in the United States in the fall of 1998, and is currently aired in over 60 countries. According to statistics, it is the most popular show among American teenagers. Pamela Anderson Lee plays Vallery Irons, a girl who finds herself propelled into the role of bodyguard to some of California’s biggest stars. With its mixture of action and humor, VIP is set in the glamorous and frenetic world of Hollywood.

The game is full of tongue in cheek humor, and features a star whose fame and celebrity is known around the world; this will enable the group to attract a very large public. In addition, Ubi Soft will continue in its conquest of the American market thanks to this new brand reinforced by Pamela Anderson Lee’s popularity in this territory.

In the PlayStation, Dreamcast and PC versions, each mission of the 3D action/adventure game gives gamers the opportunity to step into Vallery Irons' shoes and to provide protection for a new star. Protection is assured by the use of a range of weapons, each more outlandish than the one before.
