"PRESS START BUTTON" text isn't fully cleared

The game clears the text that prompts the player to press  START  when the button is pressed on the title screen to bring up the main menu. As the text is longer by one character in the English ROM ("PRESS START BUTTON") compared to the Japanese ROM ("PUSH START BUTTON") the code to clear the text does not account for the extra character, resulting in a "P" lingering on the title screen when  START  is pressed while the text is visible. This issue does not occur in the Japanese ROM.

Not fixed in any version.
