Like the discussion page for Shining Force III Koushiki Settei Shiryoushuu before it, the book says it was released on October 2nd (https://segaretro.org/index.php?title=File%3ASonicJamOfficialGuide_Book_JP.pdf&page=139) while the SoftBank website (https://web.archive.org/web/20230326143803/https://www.sbcr.jp/product/4797303379/) says it was released on September 30th.
