Teruhiko Nakagawa

From Sega Retro

Song credits

It is not confirmed that Nakagawa worked on any tracks for Sonic Rush other than "Enemy or Friend ?" and the Blazy Mixes. None of the event tracks appear on the soundtrack release either, and while "I Wanna Breathe" and "Just a Breath ! (SE)" are there, it does not explicitly state who arranged them. Masayoshi Ishi and Hiroyuki Hamada are also credited for doing music too, so they may have composed those event themes but I can't confirm that.

There's also the beta tracks from the E3 demo. While Leaf Storm Zone can safely be confirmed as his due to it being a longer version of "Enemy or Friend?", the rest are not explicitly confirmed as his either (although I assume they are his work), as I don't think the demo has any credits.

Unfortunately, I can't edit because each time I do so, Sega Retro thinks it's spam. Can someone please try to remove these for me? SpaceBurger (talk) 16:18, 23 March 2023 (EDT)

I've removed most of them, but I'm not really sure whether to keep or remove Boss (E3 Demo Version), considering the evidence given (2 tracks from a previous game he worked on being incorporated). Would you say that's alright to keep, or still better off being removed? Nicolaas Hamman (talk) 18:39, 24 March 2023 (GMT+2)
Slightly late response, but I'd say remove it. I think the only confirmed credit for Advance 2 is Leaf Forest anyways; the OST was never released on CD apart from Leaf Forest on a few compilations.. A lot of these unsourced credits were added by a person many years ago who would confirm his speculation as facts (especially based on assumptions like "re-arrangement = composed the original"). Done so. I'm tempted to also remove the section for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, since that's also speculative credits (even if Nakagawa is the only one given a generic music credit in the game). Mario & Sonic series song credits on these pages are pretty wonky with speculation. I guess it doesn't matter too much since at some point the whole load of old song credits will get removed in favour of the automated song credits pages.
