This version added Akagi and Irohazaka to the course list, revamped the story mode, game physics, and graphics, and Added the AE85, the Suzuki Cappucino, and Bunta's WRX via cheat code. Initial D Special Stage is based on this version. Sega Logistics Service announced it would end service on the arcade machines on March 31, 2017.[2][3]
