The Game Gear Micro (ゲームギアミクロ) is a miniature Sega Game Gear console released to commemorate Sega's 60th anniversary. It was publicly announced on June 3rd, 2020.

Hardware

The Game Gear Micro is designed to resemble the original Game Gear model at 40% of its original size, measuring at 80mm width x 43mm height x 20mm depth with a 1.15-inch screen, albeit with the buttons enlarged. The system uses two AAA batteries for power, although a micro USB B cable can also be used as a power supply.

Much like the original system, the Game Gear Micro comes in a selection of four colours: black, blue, yellow and red. Only four games are included with the system, with the selection of games differing for each colour. A "Big Window Micro", a smaller version of the Big Window accessory designed to fit the Game Gear Micro, is included when buying all four models at once.[1]
