Sega of America Dreamcast, Inc. (SoAD) was a subsidiary of Sega of America, established in October 1999 to handle all Sega Dreamcast-related matters[1].
While not replacing Sega of America, Sega of America Dreamcast was for all intents and purposes a name change, as Sega was not actively supporting any other consoles at the time. The division dropped its name and merged back into Sega of America as the Dreamcast was gradually discontinued.
