The Nicole Miller Sega of America accessory set is a Sega-themed men's accessory set created by American fashion designer Nicole Miller. Commissioned by Sega of America to award to the company's executives for Christmas 1994[1][2], the set consists of a necktie, scarf, and cummerbund tailored from a 100% silk fabric and decorated with a collage of popular Sega characters.

Features

Each accessory is cut from a unique Sega of America-themed fabric which features a number of the company's most-recognizable properties. Sonic the Hedgehog, ToeJam & Earl, Welcome to the Next Level, and even the unreleased Sega VR appear side-by-side on each necktie, scarf, and cummerbund. The design is ghosted with a pattern bearing Miller's name.

History

For the Christmas 1994 holiday season, Sega of America commissioned noted American fashion designer Nicole Miller to design a men's accessory set to award to the company's executives and key employees. Known recipients include Al Nilsen[1] and Scott Chandler.[1]

While created as a gift for the company's executives, it appears a significant number of additional sets were produced. While it is not believed the set was ever available for purchase, the necktie has become somewhat common among collectors through second-half merchants like eBay, and is easily the most recognizable piece of the Nicole Miller accessory set.
