The House of the Dead III (ザ・ハウス・オブ・ザ・デッド3) is an entry to the The House of the Dead series, and a direct sequel to The House of the Dead 2. It was initially developed by WOW Entertainment and published by Sega for Sega Chihiro arcade hardware in 2002.

Legacy

The Dreamcast version was first announced for release in February 2001, but was cancelled around November.

Following its Chihiro launch in 2002, The House of the Dead III was ported to the Xbox home console in 2003. A Windows PC port was released in 2005, and the game was re-released on the Wii as part of The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return. A version for the PlayStation 3 with PlayStation Move support was released by Sega in early 2012.
