Terminator 2: Judgment Day is a side-scrolling action game based on the movie of the same name. It was developed by Bits Studio and published by Flying Edge for the Sega Mega Drive in 1993.
A Sega Mega-CD version (presumably based off this game) was planned for a US release in August 1993[4], but was cancelled for unknown reasons.

Story
The malevolent artificial intelligence Skynet sends a Terminator, a highly advanced killing machine, back in time to 1995 to kill the future leader of the human resistance, John Connor, when he is a child. The resistance sends back a less-advanced, reprogrammed Terminator to protect Connor and ensure the future of humanity.
Gameplay
The game is a side-scrolling action platformer played as the T-800 Terminator. The Terminator moves with and and crouches and picks up items with .
