Mega Drive 2 (Simba's)

Distributed by Russian-based Simba's Video Games

First style

Produced from 1997 to 1999.

Second Style

The second generation of clones produced by BBK Electronics from 1999 to 2004.

Third Style

Mega Drive clones built by Chinese-based Dongguan Dewei Electronic Co., Ltd from 2005/2006. Sega name has been removed and on some models on the front, have information that this consoles are approved by Mezhregional'naya obshchestvennaya organizatsiya sodeystviya proizvodstvu i realizatsii videoigr but this was later changed to Constanta Plus which is highlighted on the back. These Mega Drive 2 clones are perhaps the least interesting of their produce, and despite being offered in three different box colours, each system is identical. Also offered is a "black box" variant with 25 built in games. All four packages are fairly common in Russia. Uses a TCT-6801 console-on-a-chip and outputs composite video with mono sound. The bottom of the console has a region switch and a 50/60Hz switch. Strangely, there are solder points on the board for a third switch and a hole cut out for it on the case, but it is not present. The expansion bay door can be removed, but there is no Mega CD connector. In 2017, stocks were take over by SFRI, which sold it unitl early 2020s. The last new console was released in 2018 (190 in 1)[1].

Same as above, but instead of composite av-out and power jacks, it has an HDMI-out and mini-usb jacks. Although it outputs through HDMI, the image is only 480p. The box is exactly the same as the av version, just with a HDMI sticker slapped on.

VG-1627 FX

Released in the 2015 under the license of The Fixies Kids Show[2].

Sega Millennium

Made by Pitek Co.

GD New Game 16bit III

Lauz On

Distributed by Sima Land from ≥ 2020.

Multy Drive

DEXP RetroGAME 6

Vintage Mega Drive

Sega II

Looks exactly like Simba's style. Text was removed from back of the box.
