Makoto Osaki (大崎 誠) is a developer at AM2 mainly involved with the "Virtua" games as well as its racing titles. Originally involved with stage design work, his first major project was Virtua Fighter Kids, where he served as Director. He would later shift to racers such as Scud Race and Daytona USA 2 (serving again as Director for the latter).

Towards the end of the '90s, Osaki's role shifted again to that of a supervisor, showing the most prominence in Shenmue II. Following this, though, he would take on many executive roles as a producer (The King of Route 66) and once more as a director (OutRun 2, Virtua Quest, Virtua Fighter 5).
